Refund Policy

Athena Verified is operated by Limpho Mofolo. We want you to be satisfied with your subscription. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available.

All payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, who also handles refund processing on our behalf.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. This applies to first-time subscribers only and does not apply to subscription renewals.

To request a refund within the 14-day window, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and your registered email address. We will process your request within 5 business days.

Subscription Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. However, if you contact us within 48 hours of a renewal charge and have not used premium features during that period, we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account Settings page under "Plan". Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.

Cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund. Refund requests must be submitted separately as described above.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

• Requests made after the 14-day window on initial purchase
• Subscription renewals (except within 48 hours as noted above)
• Accounts suspended or terminated for Terms of Service violations
• Partial months of service after cancellation mid-period
• Dissatisfaction with assessment results or badge outcomes

Free Plan

The Explorer (free) plan does not involve any charges and therefore this refund policy does not apply to free plan users.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method and bank.
